Design Concept:
This design adopts a "back-in, back-out" model to reduce the risk of sows slipping in the passageway, which can lead to miscarriages. Key features include:
• Passageway Design: The edges of the passageway are rounded to prevent dead corners, ensuring hygiene.
• Height Design: The passageway is elevated above the ground, facilitating cleaning and flushing of the walkway.
• Cleaning Space: A cleaning space is reserved between the passageway and the pen, making it easier to clean the feed troughs.
• Rear Door Design: The rear door features a bump lock design for easy opening and closing.
• Connection Method: The pen and manure board are connected using reverse T-shaped bolts to prevent injury to the pigs' feet.
